These are some of my
predictions and theories of what is to come in book six. I may not be right
but I've got faith in all of this so read on.
JKR has said someone
develops magic later in life. Who is this?
I was thinking Aunt Petunia. I mean the Dursleys hate magic. What will
Vernon think if he finds out she's a witch. What about Dudley. We know
Petunia cares about Harry because she's letting him stay with them and
speaking up against Vernon kicking him out in order to save his life. And we
know that she was just jealous of Lilly and that's why she hates magic.
That's made pretty obvious in SS. So she'll have nothing to be jealous of if
she develops magic. I'm anxious to see the reactions if this is true.
How does Dumbledore know everything that
goes on?
I remember he said he doesn't care what they take away from him as long
as they leave him on the chocolate frog cards. Maybe he uses these as a
means of spying. It would sure explain a lot. But maybe not because
Dumbledore is skilled a occlumency and maybe he just reads peoples minds.
Will Harry still have to learn occlumency?
If so who will teach him?
I say yes. I mean Voldemort can just as well plant another vision in
Harry's head. But I seriously doubt Snape will be teaching Harry again. They
hate each other to much. it just won't work. I was thinking more along the
lines of Dumbledore. I think Harry will find it much easier with Dumbledore
and he will not criticize him as much as Snape making it easier to learn. I
also think that Harry will actually try to clear his mind now before falling
asleep after Sirius. Poor Sirius. Don't remind me.
Will Harry be able to kill Voldemort with a
spell? If so who will teach him Avada Kedavra?
I don't think Harry will be able to kill Voldemort with a spell. I mean
if the curse meant to hit Harry rebounded and hit Voldemort instead he
should be dead. Unless he can't be killed by that curse. And he's went
through all this stuff to make himself immortal so surely he is still
immortal. Well at least he has a shield to Avada Kedavra is what I mean. So
will Harry have to kill him with a sword or something. I really don't know
nor can I predict. I guess I'll just have to wait and see. But if, in fact,
Harry can kill Voldemort with a curse who will teach it too him. I was
thinking that's why Dumbledore's army started. Harry realized he could teach
himself. Or maybe the real Madeye will teach him.
Will Harry tell Hermione and Ron about
Trelawny's prophecy? How will they react?
Finding out your best friend has to be murdered or murder someone isn't
exactly pleasant and I think Harry will tell them when he's ready. Most
likely sometime in the sixth book. Hermione might stick to the fact that
Trelawny's an old fraud but she will probably believe it if Dumbledore
believes it and it did turn out to come true. I think Ron won't react to
bad. It will probably make him pity Harry a little but that's all. With
Hermione I just can't tell. She might be really upset or the same as I think
Ron will be. I don't know.
Will Prof. Trelawny's make more
predictions?
I really doubt that she will. I mean it seems she's predicted enough
information already and I just can't see it happening.
Will Percy go over to Voldemort?
A lot of people think that Percy is so power hungry that he will go over
to Voldemort but I really doubt this. I mean he may be stupid and blind to
his surroundings but he's not evil or anything. Don't get me wrong. I hate
his guts and I think he's a traitor to his family and all but I don't think
he would do anything that against the rules. And we all know Percy
loves rules. I can't see him breaking them. I think he will believe whatever
the ministry tells him to believe. he doesn't care about his family or
anything but rules and his job. He won't do anything to sacrifice his job.
So I really don't think that he will go over to the dark side.
Will Percy make up with his family?
Well, Percy is very proud. We all know that. But he knows he was wrong
and I think he will apologize for being such an idiot.
Will Harry and Voldemort be able to duel?
We see in book four that since Harry and Voldemort's wands have the same
core that it causes the reverse spell effect and we assume they can't duel
with each other. I think it's only when their spell hit each other
(Voldemort and Harry said their spells at the same time) that it causes the
reverse spell effect. So they will probably not be able to duel as you have
to say the spell at the same time. However, that does not mean Harry can't
kill Voldemort with his wand. He just can't say a spell at the same time as
Voldemort.
Did Lilly and Petunia have a brother?
In the fifth book we find out that Dudley beats up a ten year old called
mark Evans. That is Lilly's maiden name. I don't think he could be Lilly son
because his last name wouldn't still be Evans. But someone said well maybe
Petunia and Lilly have a brother. That would be a really big coincidence if
he happened to live on Privet Drive. Also that would mean that Harry could
have gone and lived with them instead of the Dursleys. So yah, I doubt his
last name has any connection with Lilly Evans.
Dumbledore's Smile
We know JKR didn't put that "For a second Harry thought he saw a look of
triumph on Dumbledore's face" in there without a reason. So why would he be
happy about Voldemort taking Harry's blood. Well in the first book Hagrid
said he didn't think Voldemort was human enough to die. Voldemort needed
human blood to bring him back to life. Maybe he smiled because now Voldemort
is human enough to die. |
